GEOLOGY JOBS: 7203 - Senior Geologist - Africa - CLOSED
Our client, a Brisbane-based base metals explorer with its flagship project in central Africa, is seeking the services of an experienced Senior Geologist.
The role will either be based on a yet to be determined international fly in/fly out roster, or be based in Africa. The successful candidate will be required to supervise drilling operations & manage sampling teams.
A competitive remuneration package, in line with experience, will be offered to the successful candidate.
To be considered for this role, you will require:-
- A minimum of 5 years industry experience, including some time in a senior capacity, with base metal exploration experience (especially copper).
- Tertiary degree in geology
- Proficient in the use of standard exploration software (MapInfo, Micromine & ArcView)
- Experience in managing exploration programs from green fields to production stage.
- International exploration experience.
- Experience supervising & training local staff.
