GEOLOGY JOBS: 7228 - Exploration Geologist - NSW - CLOSED
Our client, a WA-based explorer with Gold/Base Metal projects in both WA & NSW, is looking to employ an experienced Exploration Geologist to help explore it's large & highly prospective tenements holdings in NSW.
This unique role would be ideal for a local (NSW) geologist with a passion for green fields exploration. It represents an excellent opportunity to be responsible for the discovery of major resources in the area. The role will consist of:-
- Regional mapping.
- Target generation.
- Rock chipping & soil sampling.
- Occasional drilling.
When onsite, the successful candidate will be accommodated in local share-housing with fellow employees of the company. For the right candidate, the company will be flexible regarding the work roster, & you will become a key member of a small but supportive & close-knit team.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:-
- Be NSW-based.
- Have a minimum of 3 years exploration experience, particularly with gold.
- Possess a good level of physical fitness & an independent "hands on" approach to green fields exploration.
- Be proficient in the use of MapInfo & other graphical geological software packages.
