Our client is an aspiring Australian iron ore producer dedicated to developing its quality portfolio of iron ore assets.  The company holds iron ore tenements spanning over 6,000 km2 across Western Australia’s premier iron regions and are looking to develop these assets through to production.  As a result of this expasion, we are sourcing suitably qualified and experienced Exploration Geologists to join their team.

This is a DIDO position from Perth on a 2 weeks on 1 week of roster, which is negotiable for the right candidate.  We are looking to appoint 2 experienced exploration geologists with between 3-10years experience.  As this client's main commodity is Iron Ore, previous exposure to this is a neccessity, however previous experience in nickel or gold is equally highly regarded.  The successful candidate will also possess previous experience working in the YILGARN region.  The role primarily encompasses the management of the RC rigs, as well as geological data collection and target generation, however further responsibilities will be appointed based on the experience of the successful candidates.

We are seeking a responsible, mature and autonomous candidate, who is able to work with little to no supervision and is able to come in and hit the ground running.  Some training is offered, however a good understanding of the Yilgarn region is required.   With a forecasted minimum of 5 years worth of drilling and exploration, this is a permanent position, but we are also willing to accept contractors who are looking to become permanent with a progressive and diverse company.  An excellent remuneration is offered, as well as great camp facilities for the right individual.
