We have a fantastic international opportunity for an experienced RESOURCE GEOLOGIST with this junior explorer focused on its portfolio of gold and uranium exploration projects in South America.  This companies assets comprise of over 8,000km² of granted licences prospective for gold and 4,000km² prospective for uranium mineralization, making it a unique and exciting project for this area of the world.

To be successful for this position you will have a minimum of 4-5 years experience in Geology, with a considerable amount of time a similar position.  You will possess a strong resource background, with plenty of software, modelling and statistics experience. Your specific focus will be on developing the resource of the project and ensuring process that supports systematic upgrade and expansion of resources from agreed and planned targets.  We are seeking a good communicator, who is team focused, flexible and able to commit to a long term project. 

This is ideally a residential position and as such it is preferred you reside in South America for the duration of your employment, with multiple return flights provided to your departure point annually.  Relocation is offered for the right candidate.  Our client is offering a standard 3 months on 1 month off contract.  We are seeking individuals who are available for commencement in late January 2012, so this is a great opportunity to commence the New Year with a new international position!
