Geology Jobs - GEOLOGY JOBS: 8809 Senior Exploration Geologist - Details - Mining Employment Services

We have a fantastic international opportunity for an experienced SENIOR EXPLORATION GEOLOGIST with this junior explorer focused on its portfolio of gold and uranium exploration projects in South America.  This companies assets comprise of over 8,000km² of granted licences prospective for gold and 4,000km² prospective for uranium mineralization, making it a unique and exciting project for this area of the world.

To be successful for this position you will have a minimum of 5-10 years experience in Geology, with a considerable amount of time a similar position.  You will possess strong supervisory experience, with previous exposure to drill rig management and supervision/mentoring of junior geologists and crew.  Quality Assurance will also be vital to the role, and therefore previous experience with this is a MUST.  Reporting directly to the Exploration Manager, we are sourcing a candidate who has had previous expatriate experience preferably, with great communications skills.  You will systematic in your approach and very technically minded.  The right candidate will be a team player, who is focused, flexible and able to commit to a long term project.  

This is ideally a residential position and as such it is preferred you reside in South America for the duration of your employment, with multiple return flights provided to your departure point annually.  Relocation is offered for the right candidate.  Our client is offering a standard 3 months on 1 month off contract.  We are seeking individuals who are available for commencement in late January 2012, so this is a great opportunity to commence the New Year with a new international position!
