GEOLOGY JOBS: 7978 - Senior Mine Geologist - WA
Our client is one of the largest supplier of seaborne iron ore globally, with world-class operations located in Western Australia and Brazil. Currently embarking on several major growth projects at both mines and ports, laying the foundations for future growth, they are sourcing a Senior Mine Geologist.
This is for a 6 month contract with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate. This newly opened position is a great opportunity with a reputable giant in the mining industry. You will have a minimum of 5-10 years experience within a similar role and must have been appointed to a senior role previously. This position offers an excellent 9/5 roster FIFO from Perth.
We are sourcing for this role with the view of an immediate start, and as the suitable candidate you will be required to perform the following duties:
- Managing daily grade control activities.
- Managing team of 4 geologists.
- Liaising with contractors.
- Ensuring execution of blast hole logging.
- Assay forecasts and results.
