GEOLOGY JOBS: 6790 - Senior Mine Geologist Overseas - CLOSED
Our client is currently seeking a project geologist to join their energetic team. They offer a residential work environment, with the town of residence being just 15 minutes from the mine. There is a huge range of outdoor recreational opportunities within 1-2 hours, ranging from fishing and hunting to skiing, caving, bush walking, horse riding, jet boating, kayaking, surfing, the activities are endless! Reporting through to the Mine Manager, the Senior Mine Geologist will be responsible for leading the Mine Geology team to ensure excellence in ore definition and grade protection, through the application of sound grade control and ore modelling practises that will underpin the economic success of the mine.
You will possess a minimum of 5 years industry experience with developed skills in a production environment along with excellent people management experience and the ability to logically work with various departments in order to fulfil the goals of the Mine Geology Team and the company’s team as a whole.
