HEALTH SAFETY AND TRAINING: - 6843 HSE Manager
Our client is an ambitious AIM listed company committed to becoming a significant gold producer. On their behalf, we are currently seeking applications from suitably experienced Health and Safety Professionals for the role of HSE Manager.
Under new management, their South East Asia gold operation is moving forward with a processing plant expansion and substantial future exploration opportunities which have been identified. The company is currently generating a steady cash flow, with a strategy focused on new opportunities in the largely untouched region.
Health and Safety Manager
Reporting to the General Manager, you will have responsibility within your department for:
- Maintaining Health Safety and Company standard
- Recruiting, developing and managing staff
- Strategic planning
- Preparing, monitoring and maintaining annual budgets
- Preparing and Implementing OHS systems
- Ensure all contract and staff adhere to procedures and legislative requirements
- Training packages and development
Qualifications
- Diploma on OH&S desirable
- Cert IV in Workplace Training and Assessing
- 5 years experience in a similar position
The successful candidate can expect an attractive remuneration package. The position is offered on a 4/2 fly in, fly out roster from POH, or residential near a large SE Asian City.
