HEALTH SAFETY AND TRAINING JOBS: 7111 - HSE Coordinator
Our Client has an excellent opportunity for an experienced HSE Coordinator to join their operation in the Pilbara.
Job Description:
- Assisting with and conduct induction training for employees and contractors prior to commencement of duties on site
- Participating in and conducting regular safety audits with provision of feedback to field staff on the results
- Ensuring first aid, alarms and emergency equipment and procedures, including appropriate communication, are in place and operational
- Reviewing and assisting in preparation of incident/accident reports
- Ensure all company standards, policies and procedures and site specific procedures are adhered to at all times
- Regular monitoring and ensure fitness for work policy is understood and followed
- Participate in performance monitoring and reviews
- Collating and filing safety documentation such as certificates/qualifications, safety meeting minutes, incident/accident reports and first aid certificates
- Monitor compliance to Legislation, codes and standards changes, advise and support line management in ensuring compliance
Requirements:
- Cert 4 in OHS or Diploma OHS
- Cert 4 in WT&A desired
- 2 - 3 years experience in a similar role
- Clear police clearance
- C Class drivers license
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical & D&A
- Can supply suitable referees
