MINE SURVEYING JOBS: 7976 - Underground Mine Surveyor
Our client, who operate 2 successful producing gold operations in the WA Goldfields, are seeking an experienced Underground Mine Surveyor to join their team.
This permanent role is offered on a fly in/fly out basis from Perth. On-site facilities include fully en-suited accommodation, Foxtel and excellent camp facilities.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Maintaining up-to-date survey controls and data on mine status
- Tracking development activity against mine plans and ensuring surveying targets are met to optimise production from the underground resources.
- Ensure all surveying activities are carried out safely and in accordance with company standards and legislative requirements.
Qualifications required:
- Tertiary qualifications in Surveying
- Proven and relevant surveying experience, preferably gained underground in the gold industry
- Ability to demonstrate a sound understanding of statutory safety requirements
- Familiarity with drafting and modelling software used in ore body definition and mine planning
- Surpac experience preferred.
