All analytical work conducted by our client is carried out in one large centralised laboratory facility. This means that all their expertise is "under one roof", enhancing quality control.                                                                                                              

They are currently seeking a suitably experienced Laboratory Manager to join their laboratory based in Adelaide.

Key responsibilities of this role include;

• Install and commission a Fire Assay Department, wet digest Laboratory and instrumentation section
• Report profit and loss statements along with forecasted budgets in a timely manner
• Establish laboratory practices in line with processes undertaken at the Maddington facility in relation to analytical production, quality and turnaround requirements
• Provide quotations, reports and feedback to clients as required
• Adhere to current company policies and procedures
• Recruitment/procurement of laboratory staff
• Ensure staff are appropriately trained
• Day to day management of the laboratory
• Perform Quality Control on data
• Ensure the operation adheres to current relevant legislation
• Other appropriate duties as instructed by Australasian Business Development Manager
