Our Client is seeking the services of a suitably qualified and experienced Plant Metallurgist for their operation.
About the Position:
- Process engineering, monitoring and investigation to quantify mill-operating parameters
- Provide technical support to the Mill Operating personnel to achieve optimum mill efficiency
- Troubleshooting and identification of any necessary process development work
- Critically review operating and technical data to identify trends or non-compliance
- Ensure that all reported metallurgical and operating data is valid and reported as required
- Carry out any development programmes through testwork and plant trials / surveys
- Ensure that the CiTect operator interface system is maintained and backed up
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Extractive Metallurgy or Mineral Processing
- Cu Flotation Experience well regarded
- Minimum 2 years experience in similar role
- Sound analytical, planning, implementation and supervision skills
- High level of computer literacy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- CiTect and SAP experience highly regarded
About the Mill:
- 2.65 MTPA
- 3 stage crush
- Ball mill
- Flotation
- 10-15 yr life
