Our Client is one of the world’s largest gold producers with an annual production in excess of 4 million ounces. Their gold reserves exceed 90 million ounces and have more than 43,000 employees working in operations, exploration and joint venture activities in North and South America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia.

They are now well established in Australia with their mines producing in excess of 700,000 oz per year and are proud to have some of the country’s most talented, exploration, mining, processing, maintenance and associated support people on their team.

They are currently seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Metallurgist for a contract role (minimum of 6 months) to assist in the implementation of the cyanide code and provide technical support to their operation.

The successful candidate will possess;

• Relevant tertiary degree  
• A minimum of two years experience in the mining industry
• Exposure to the cyanide code an advantage
