Our Client is a major iron ore producer with operations based throughout Western Australia.
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Metallurgist to join their technical team to provide technical support and leadership for operations staff, assist maintenance staff in improving plant availability and performance and to maximise plant throughput whilst minimising the associated processing costs. Optimisation and improvement of the process plant will be a key responsibility.
In order to be considered for this position, you will need to demonstrate the following:
- A background in crushing, screening and plant reliability, preferably with iron ore experience.
- Tertiary qualification in metallurgy or mineral processing.
- A demonstrated history of problem solving and a desire to make a significant contribution
- Excellent communication and people skills.
