METALLURGY: 5224 - Mill Manager - Africa
Our Client is a Perth based ASX listed gold producer with a market capitalisation of approximately A$300m with operations in Australia and Africa.
They are now seeking an experienced person to fill the role of Mill Manager at their African operation. To apply for this position, you will need to have a tertiary qualification in metallurgy or similar discipline.
Specific experience is required in Crushing, SAG Milling, Ball Mill and CIL with exposure to flotation and roasting a significant advantage. Applicants must have a strong commitment to the continued training and development of their staff and be highly motivated team players.

- Safety compliance and improvements

- Cost effective recovery
- Asset management and maintenance strategies
- Continuous improvement initiatives throughout the mill
- Budgets and cost control
- Management of the mill team including maintenance and stores
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Strong understanding of the complete gold process
- Previous experience handling budgets
- Proven ability to manage high volume staff
- Strong understanding of HSE issues and mining legislation/ regulations
