MINING ENGINEERING: 5206 - Senior Mine Planning Engineer - Africa
Our Client is a Perth based ASX listed gold producer with a annual turnover of A$200m from their operations Queensland and Africa. They are currently engaged in the US$170 million re-development of their Gold Project in West Africa.
Their project is a contract mining open pit operation which currently has a six to seven year mine life with potential to increase reserves through development of underground resources and nearby exploration success. The ore treatment plant will include flotation and roasting of a sulphide gold concentrate with CIL recovery.
Senior Mine Planning Engineer
A minimum of 3-5 years experience in similar roles and previous offshore experience would be highly beneficial, but not essential. Mali is a francophone country. An ability to speak French will be an asset. A willingness to learn will be critical for all roles.
Applicants must have a strong commitment to the continuing training and development of their staff and be highly motivated team players.
Single status contracts are available with furnished housing on site. Single status roster is 9 weeks on and 4 weeks R&R to point of hire. Residential status will be considered for senior roles. Residential status roster is 5 months on and 1 month off.
