Our client is a technically innovative drilling business that provides specialised underground and surface drilling services to the Australian resource and mining industry.  They operate in sectors requiring a high degree of skill and operational support, and where it believes it can build and sustain a technical competitive advantage through the construction of its own drill rigs.

Job Details ~ Drillers Offsiders:

• Assist the Driller, according to the company's safe working practices, safely and efficiently
• Service and maintain the drilling equipment
• Keep the drill site (and all associated equipment and vehicles) clean and serviceable
• Fuel and oil all associated equipment as required
• Participate in all training and developmental programs
• Assist with daily pre start checks

Job Details – RC Drillers:

• All rigs are operated in a safe, cost effective manner and that the equipment is well maintained
• All employees in your charge, work within the guidelines set down for the contract and follow their duty of care requirements
• All risks and hazards are identified and actioned accordingly
• Previous RC Drilling experience required
• Operating Schramm Drills

Job Details - Multi Prupose Driller:

• Have at least 3 years experience drilling
• All rigs are operated in a safe, cost effective manner and that the equipment is well maintained
• All employees in your charge, work within the guidelines set down for the contract and follow their duty of care requirements
• All risks and hazards are identified and actioned accordingly
• Operate the new KW1600 Boart Longyear Drills

Requirements:

• Be able to work with minimal supervision
• Excellent safety record and efficient drilling practices
• Current (WA) HR Driver's Licence
• Previous labouring experience
• Be able to pass all medical requirements including Drug & Alcohol Screens
• Be able to obtain a Police Clearance
• Be physically fit
