Our Client is committed to developing itself as a prominent Australian minerals producer, our client is undertaking aggressive growth through the development of new and existing projects on a national level. As a key mid-tier mining company with a talented board backed by an experienced management team and high calibre employees, the Company possesses a portfolio of producing operations, advanced exploration targets and development prospects.

The northern goldfields has a long operating history and extensive gold production record, this project will be a cornerstone in the company portfolio possessing current resources totaling over 6 million ounces and reserves in excess of 1.6Moz.

The development of a new decline is on schedule and target depth is expected to be reached in the soon and pre-production and trial mining will follow.

The company is currently seeking a Production Superintendent to join their operation.

Key responsibilities of the role include;

• Evaluation, planning, approval and implementation of underground mining projects at their site.
• Encompassing both operational and future planning of the mining operations to extract the current ore reserves within defined time frames at the most economic rates.

To be successful in this role you will require;

• Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering or Geology
• Experience in mine production and planning
