Our Client is one of the leading base metal producers in the world and they are looking for a Production Superintendent with a background in flotation to join their production team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the operations crew to manage and control all aspects of nickel concentrate production to produce budgeted output in a safe, sustainable, cost effective manner.

This position requires a suitably industry experienced candidate with strong technical skills, a practical “hands on” approach and a real desire to achieve production and commercial improvements. You must have excellent "man-management and people skills" to be considered for this role.

Skills & Experience 

Essential

• Qualifications Mechanical trade certificate
• 8-10 years mineral processing/chemical plant experience.
• 5+ years senior supervisory experience.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting ability and computer skills and written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexible and reliable work ethic, demonstrated commitment to safety,
  teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to lead people.
• Knowledge of plant DCS operation.

Desirable

• 10+ years mineral processing plant experience, ideally in the recovery of
  nickel concentrates via crushing, grinding and flotation, mostly at senior
  supervisor level.
