METALLURGY JOBS: 8783 - Senior Metallurgist - Residential
Our Client is a leader in the resources industry, and is currently looking for a suitably qualified Senior Metallurgist to join their gold operation on a fixed term assignment.
As Senior Metallurgist, you will be responsible for providing technical support to optimise and continuously improve the processing operation, and assist in the development of a significant plant upgrade.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyse plant performance in order to maximise throughput and recovery
- Provision of technical expertise to operations personnel to assist with plant problem solving
- Development and implementation of plant performance improvement strategies
- Reporting of production and budget targets
Requirements:
- A demonstrated approach to safe work practices
- A Degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years experience as a Metallurgist or Process Engineer
- A commitment to team success
- Strong commitment to project execution
- A commitment to continuous improvement through technical ideas & innovation
