Permanent Position FIFO from Perth
Our client's vision is to become a leading independent Australian iron ore company with a portfolio of magnetite and hematite production assets, located within the Mid West region of Western Australia.
They are looking for a suitably qualified Metallurgist or Chemical Engineer with a flair for PLC control and previous experience in crushing, grinding and flotation.
Reporting to the Production Superintendent, this is a fantastic opportunity for a career minded individual with strong ambition to join a new start up operation. You will be instrumental in the programming and functional specification development of the concentrator control system.
Qualifications:

Tertiary Qualification in Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering
Experience and Skills requirements:
-
5-7 years experience in the mineral processing industry
-
Process control experience in the areas of crushing, grinding and flotation
-
Previous experience in PLC programming and ladder logic
-
Knowledge and experience in Magnetite Ore Processing will be highly regarded
-
Previous start-up success will be favourably looked upon
-
Excellent Written and Verbal English language skills
-
Computer literacy
-
“C” class drivers license
