Our Client is a publicly listed company on the Australian Stock Exchange operating in mineral sands. Expansion plans are now being developed to further increase production at its flagship operation, and a Process Manager is sought at this exciting stage of the project’s development.

The role is to manage the primary concentration and mineral separation plants, from receipt of ore through to the delivery of product to the rail load-out facility. It requires interaction with the Mining Manager, the Maintenance Manager, and the Environmental Officer, whilst incorporating team management. You will take responsibility for the development, manning and operation within the metallurgical domain of the new mine development through execution and into operations within agreed budget parameters.

The ideal candidate will possess;

• Tertiary Qualified in Metallurgy
• Have solid experience in managing a processing plant and posses strong people management skills. Your strong understanding of mining related financial analysis, and business drivers coupled with your excellent computer skills will see you become highly successful in this role
• Previous mineral sands experience will be highly regarded
