Our Client is an international company offering global opportunities, with a vision to be the world's best gold mining company by finding, acquiring, developing, and producing quality reserves in a safe, profitable and socially responsible manner.

They are currently seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Process Plant Superintendent to join their operations.

Key responsibilities of this role will include for

• Delivering the annual Operating Strategy plan for process operations to achieve planned throughput, recovery and budget
• Assist the Process Manager with implementation of change management initiative and other business improvement projects
• Developing and managing systems to meet planned utilisation, productivity and performance of the Concentrator, Oxidation, Oxygen Plant, CIP and refining processes.  Ability to also carry out processing, training and projects to agreed costs, quality, quantity and schedule.

You will be committed to ensuring that Safety, Training, Production and cost control targets are met. You must be able to demonstrate a strong desire to be a part of a team that is committed to safety, development of its national work force, setting and meeting production targets and strong cost control and financial acumen.

The ideal applicant will possess

• Significant experience in senior roles in the minerals processing operations, including several years in senior front line leadership roles.
• Experience in integrating maintenance, metallurgy and operational planning requirements including experience in plant shut down management, contractor management and process equipment commissioning.
• Development of management operating systems including knowledge of competency based training systems is also essential for this role.
• Several years of demonstrated success as an effective and supportive leader with proven ability to lead a team safely and improve team safety awareness through effective communication (written/spoken and presentation) skills across all levels.
• Competent computer skills with the ability to use integrated management systems, spreadsheet applications, word processing and presentation is also essential.
• The capability and desire to transfer skills and knowledge to a national workforce.
