METALLURGY: 5056 - Production Metallurgist - Goldfields Region WA
Our Client is looking for a suitably qualified Production Metallurgist to join their operation in the Goldfields region of WA.
As Production Metallurgist, you will be responsible for providing technical support to optimise and continuously improve the refractory milling operation, currently processing 1.9Mtpa.
The site executes technical improvements through a developed business plan and is a leader in implementing flotation improvements
Duties & Responsibilities:

Monitor and analyse plant performance in order to maximise throughput and recovery

Provision of technical expertise to operations personnel to assist with plant problem solving

Development and implementation of plant performance improvement strategies

Reporting of production and budget targets
Requirements:

Demonstrated approach to safe work practices

Degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering or equivalent

Commitment to team success

Commitment to continuous improvement through technical ideas & innovation
