SURVEYING JOBS: 6781 - Senior Open Pit Mine Surveyor - New Zealand
Our client, a well-established gold producer with operations in Australia, the Phillipines and New Zealand, is seeking the services of an experienced Senior Open Pit Mine Surveyor for one of it's two New Zealand operations.
This residential, Monday to Friday position will report to the Open Pit Mining Manager and be responsible for the following:-
- Managing/maintaining the survey database
- Undertake volume reconciliations
- Provide survey services for the mine and it's environs and occassionally for regional exploration activities
- Comply with all safety requirements & company procedures
Skills/Requirements
To be considered for this position, you will require the following skills/attributes:-
- 5 years+ post graduate mining survey experience, preferably in an open-pit mining environment
- Significant experience with computerised surveying & mine design packages
- Experience in blast pattern & grade control surveying
- A Surveying degree
