SURVEYING JOBS: 6863 - Contract Underground Mine Surveyor - NSW
Our client, a well-established NSW copper producer, is seeking the services of an experienced Underground Mine Surveyor for it's central NSW operations. The 6 week contract role, which begins after Easter (April 2010), will operate on a 2/1 FIFO roster from any capital city in Australia, will be responsible for the following underground surveying duties:-
- Pickups
- Development setouts
- CMS surveys
- Some surface GPS work
Skills/Requirements
To be considered for this position, you will require the following skills/attributes:-
- Recognised survey qualifications
- 2 years+ underground mining survey experience
- Be fully competent with Surpac & AutoCad
- Have excellent Leica 1100/1200 total station, Leica GPS & Optech CMS skills.
