MINE SURVEYING JOBS: 7097 - Open Pit and Underground Surveyors wanted - NT - CLOSED
Our client, a major gold producer based in the Northern Territory, is seeking the services of an experienced Mine Surveyors, both Open Pit & Underground.
These positions, which will be residential-based in Darwin, will form an integral part of the mining team and will be responsible for the supervision and direction of all site-based survey teams. Rosters of either 5 days on/2 days off or 2 weeks on/1 week off are available to the successful candidates.
Key responsibilities will include:-
- Provision of detailed survey plans.
- Management of the survey database.
- Survey volumes and stockpiles for the open pit.
- Survey underground workings and grade control.
To be considered for this role, the successful candidate will require:-
- A relevant tertiary qualification in surveying (Grade 1 or 2 Authorisation preferred).
- Minimum of 1 year Open Pit and/or Underground mine survey experience.
- Excellent communication & organisational skills.
- Experience in mining survey software
- Demonstrated ability to direct & lead small survey teams.
