Our Client is an established exploration company specializing in gold, base metals and uranium. With tenements amounting to over 6 000km under management, they are continuously expanding, now involved in a newly developed joint venture to expand gold and base metal potential  south-east of Port Hedland.

Opportunities for an experienced Senior Exploration/Field Geologist are now available to assist in the further advancement of existing and future projects. With sound abilities enabling you to make challenging and significant transformational mineral discoveries, you could be offered the unique opportunity to advance in the role of Exploration Manager at a rate which only a rapidly developing company such as our client might provide. 

Working closely with the current Exploration Manager and Managing Director, the position on provides a great work/home balance of 2 week field/1 week R&R/1 week Perth roster arrangement, with additional amounts of time in the field during the Pilbara exploration field season (April – November).

Our Client operates where possible out of field offices Port Hedland, Marble Bar and Onslow, offering internet access and other amenities.

This position allows responsibilities for the:

• Implementation and supervision of exploration programmes in an efficient and safe manner
• Supervision of drilling programs
• Supervision of contractors and field staff
• Weekly and monthly reporting
• Discovery of significant and extensive deposits

Job requirements and qualifications;

• A Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent Geology qualification;
• Significant exploration experience;
• Computing skills, specifically Mapinfo and Discovery;
• The ability to self-manage and work autonomously, with integrity and possess a ‘lead by example” attitude
