MINING ENGINEERING: 5339 - Senior Mining Engineer - WA
Our Client operates an open cut coal mine in the South West of WA that produces up to 3.5 million tonnes of coal per annum.
They are currently seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Senior Mining Engineer to join their operations.
You will be responsible for;

Leadership of mine engineering functions
-
Providing an effective mine planning service
-
Developing a detailed mine operating plan and budgets
-
Contributing to financial evaluations and equipment selection decisions
-
Management of multiple projects of a varying nature including continuous improvement projects
Experience and qualifications required;
-
A degree in Mining Engineering
-
5 to 8 years experience in the mining industry
-
Experience with Vulcan, Talpac and Xpac software
-
Experience with cost modelling of mine operations
-
Experience in business improvement processes and the Modular Mining Dispatch system would be desirable
