MINING ENGINEERING: 5063 - Alternate UG Manager and Production Engineer - WA
Alternate Underground Manager and Production Engineer required for our client who is about to begin substantial gold production from its Gold Mine, located in the Goldfields of Western Australia.
With production profiles of +170,000 ounces per annum, they will quickly become a high profile Australian gold producer and will elevate & our client into one of the country’s premier gold mining companies. They will be commissioning a 1 million tonne per annum CIL treatment plant, and anticipate completion of a number of key infrastructure projects including a state-of-the-art 200 person village, administration complex and power station.
The opportunities they have available for Mine Engineering roles (Alternate Underground Manager and Production Engineer) are:
- To assist developing stoping solutions for the wide range of mineralised lode and geometry. Two key stoping styles to be employed are large volume sub-level open stopes and conventional narrow-vein bench stoping.
- Be involved in the reserve studies of new mining ventures and open pit mining of established near-surface resources.
- Develop a versatile mining engineering skill set across a broad range of mining and project activities.
