MINING ENGINEERING: 5073 - Underground Geotechnical Engineer - Goldfields WA

- 9 DAYS ON 5 DAYS OFF ROSTER
An exciting opportunity now exists for a Geotechnical Engineer to join our clients' team at their Nickel Operation.
Reporting to the Mining Manager the main responsibilities will include:
- Assist in ensuring compliance to Regulation 10.28 of the Mines Safety and Inspection Regulations WA 1995.
- Underground infrastructure inspections.
- Seismic system management and updates including continuous data processing, analysis and system expansion as required.
- Complete stress modelling.
The successful applicant should possess:
- Degree qualified in either Geotechnical Engineering, Mining Engineering or Geology
- 3+ years' knowledge and exposure to mining involving geotechnical engineering practice, ground control methods and technology.
- Must have initiative and be keen to learn and take on responsibilities.
