Our client is currently looking for a TECHNICAL SERVICES MANAGER for their flagship operation based in Australia. Reporting to the General Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for all the technical activities associated with the mining operation.
Responsibilities of this role include;
Manage Technical Services
Strategic planning to ensure annual and rolling mining schedules adhere to LOM objectives
Mine design and mine planning
Ventilation and survey services
Mine recording and mine reporting, cost reporting and budgets
Continuous mine improvement
Comply with all Safety requirements
To be successful in this role you will possess;
Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering
7-10 years’ experience, 5 + open pit gold plus exposure to underground is highly desirable
Previous supervisory experience
Surpac is essential and familiarity with EPS scheduling is highly desirable
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
