On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced Signals and Communications (S&C) Engineer to join their team to fault find and solve problems leading to improved safety, reliability and costs.
The role is responsible for all technical and engineering assurances of systems, communications maintenance systems and new works projects. This includes monitoring S&C KPIs, implementation of corrective actions and inspection of signals, communications and train control systems.
To be considered for this role you will have the following qualifications and attributes:
Australian recognised Bachelor degree in Engineering (Electrical/Communications) or
10+ years in a signalling/communications project engineering role
7+ years experience in a rail systems and communications project engineering role which includes 3+ years in a train control systems engineering role
Cuurent C Class MDL
Solid understanding of risk management, preventive maintenance and condition monitoring
Long term reliability strategies for rail S&C systems
SAP Linear Asset Management skills
This position is offered on an 8/6 FIFO from Perth with a generous salary package to be negotiated with the successful candidate
