Our client, a well established mining company, is currently seeking an experienced Process Manager to join their base metal operation.You will be accountable for team safety, efficient operation of the concentrator, continuous improvement and ensuring production targets are achieved.
This role is accountable for:
Implementation and adherence of policies for OH&S, Risk, Environment and Community across all processing teams.
Define metallurgical and plant operating standards and practices in order to meet recovery and quality targets and build systems to ensure compliance of personnel with these.
Own the processing department's continuous improvement process to deliver improved safety, increased productivity, improved recoveries and reduced unit cost.
Develop the processing department's annual budget plans in line with the life of mine plan and implement systems to ensure attainment to budget.
Coordinate the sites process surface improvement projects to ensure project work is completed within budget and to planned time frames.
Manage the supply chain from ROM to shipping.
In order to be considered for this role, you will have:
A demonstrated track record of success in a similar role within the minerals processing industry.
Degree qualification in Minerals Processing or Extractive Metallurgy.
Excellent verbal, written and reporting skills.
Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement.
Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of base metals minerals processing plants specifically in the areas of comminution and flotation.
