Our Client is an emerging major Australian gold producer with a strong, strategic growth plan through the development of new and existing projects. They are currently looking for an experienced Processing Manager to head their processing team. The key responsibilities of this role include; Managing the ore processing and maintenance functions to ensure all safety, environmental and production targets are met Reduce operating and maintenance costs (supported by capital investment recommendations as appropriate) Improve plant availability Improve plant throughput, whilst maintaining tails grades at acceptable levels Explore and implement measures to improve the environmental sustainability of operations. Ideally you will have: Tertiary Qualifications in Metallurgy or equivalent At least 10 years relevant experience including at least five years gold industry experience. Strong people management skills Knowledge of statutory safety requirements relevant to Mill processes Knowledge of relevant environmental legislation Systematic planning skills Computer literacy including spreadsheets and familiarity with metallurgical and maintenance modelling software The role is offered on a FIFO Perth roster, and the remuneration package is structured to attract and retain the quality of applicants that this position requires.
