We are looking for an experienced Underground Mine Geologist with 2-5 years' experience for a contract position at our client's underground gold mine.
The duties and requirements for this role include:
· Design and supervision of underground drilling programs
· Maintain continual underground mapping and sampling
· Data entry of geological information
· Maximise grade and minimise dilution through effective geological control
· Maintain daily, weekly and monthly reporting of production and reconciliation data
· Co-ordinate all geological, grade control and drilling activities in the underground operation, ensuring best practice techniques
· Produce technical reports based on resource definition and production findings
· Grade production control
· Production reconciliation
· Computer literate in Surpac and/or Datamine, office products and Mapinfo or similar
· A current Drivers licence and able to drive a manual vehicle
· Must be located in Australia to be considered for this position
