Our Client operates a world class mining operation in an overseas location and requires an experienced Senior Metallurgist to join their technical group.
You will bring at least 5 years of operational experience from gold or base metals operations and be looking for the challenge of using your technical & management expertise to develop the Processing team and provide direction to the operations with your experience in plant optimisation, flotation and SAG milling.
Your qualifications & experience:
Tertiary qualifications in Extractive Metallurgy
At least 5 years of experience on large scale processing plants – preferably within the gold or base metals industry
Commitment to train both nationals and expatriates
Proven leadership and communication skills
Strong focus on HSE requirements
Knowledge of metallurgical accounting and project development
