MES is looking for 2 experienced Senior Metallurgical Technicians for a minimum 6-month contract at a world class minesite with an enviable roster.
You will be able to demonstrate strong technical skills and be hands on operationally, as well as have the capacity to update procedures and train other staff in a recently refurbished laboratory.
This will involve developing systems, log sheets and data entry as well as the day to day requirements of an operational gold mine.
Sampling, sizings (wet screening, dry screening, cyclosizing and laser sizing), sample prep/dispatch.
Lab scale flotation tests
leach tests (bottle rolls)
GIC
Demonstrated experience with bottle rolls, Metso and Essa flotation machines, Malvern Laser Sizer, Cyclosizer, viscometer, sample prep with LM2 pulverisers will be well regarded.
