Has had 10 years experience in the mining industry as a geologist in underground production/exploration (4 years) and minerals exploration (6 years). Also worked as a field assistant during university in Kalgoorlie, totaling about 18 months experience in pit grade control, mapping, RAB/RC chip logging and sampling. In 2007 reentered the exploration industry as senior geologist for Anchor Resources, moving to senior geologist and chief geologist. Has most recently been exploration manager for a Junior Australian exploration company, responsible for project acquisition across multiple commodities and general control of the exploration program. Extensive experience in management of technical teams in Australia, Papua New Guinea and Brazil, and have established system to manage exploration and mining geology projects, has trained and mentored junior to senior geologists, and have developed and managed budgets up to $10 million. Strong technical ability, combined with strong management ability, makes a competent exploration manager.
