						<description>On behalf of our Client, we are currently sourcing for an experience Environmental Officer for a challenging site-based role on an attractive FIFO roster. Duties &amp;amp; Responsibilities: Conduct a thorough Environmental Monitoring program, including dust, water &amp;amp; soil sampling. Assist in the preparation of environmental reports, licence applications, and submissions. Manage internal environmental resources to optimise internal processes / practices and ensure that planned objectives are achieved within budget. Liaise with Senior Management and Engineers on the timing, status and progress of Approvals Requests. Provide support in all aspects of environmental management for the project including the provision of general environmental advice and support to Perth and site based personnel. Promotion and awareness of Project environment and approvals requirements including environmental opportunities and constraints. Position Requirements: Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science or equivalent. 						<title>ENVIRONMENTAL JOBS: 8350 - Senior Environmental Advisor</title>
						<description>Reporting to the HSE Manager, the Senior Environmental Advisor will be accountable for supervision of all environmental aspects of the company's flagship operation and liaising with the exploration and projects groups. Core Accountabilities: Lead the preparation of environmental reports, licence applications, and submissions; inclusive of direct liaison with government bodies, nominated community groups and other stakeholders. Preparation of internal weekly and monthly environmental reports. Manage internal environmental resources to optimise internal processes / practices and ensure that planned objectives are achieved within budget. Liaison with Mining and Processing staff to ensure they are aware of Company operating licence conditions and obligations. Lead by example with respect to safety performance ensuring hazards are identified, reported and staff in the Environmental Department are aware of and abide by site safety standards. Provide a strategic and proactive focus on environmental programs and site practices. Training &amp;amp; mentoring of junior staff. Provide coverage for the HSE Manager as required. Identifying key environmental issues that pose a risk to obtaining project approvals and developing options to resolve these risks. Selection Criteria: Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Engineering or a related discipline. 5+ years of relevant industry experience. Previous involvement in the approvals process for a major resources project.
