Reporting to the General Manager Operations this position is offered on a permanent residential basis. Responsibilities of this role are: Responsible for the operation of the site OH&S system to ensure that the organisation meets or exceeds the statutory requirements for OHSE and to promote health, safety and environmental issues in the workplace and be a site resource for OH&S. Provide support for all Staff in all OHSE matters. Environmental issues in conjunction with Technical Department. Investigate in depth serious incidents reporting to the GMO and Statutory Authorities. Risk assessments, manage site training activities and coach and mentor other personnel. Provide for the maintenance of OHSE records and reports. Continue development of OH&S system. Carry out site OH&S audits. Coordinate site OH&S training. Requirements of this role are: Min Cert IV Occupational Health and Safety  (Dip preferred) Cert IV Training and Assessment. Min 2 years mining environment experience. Conversant with PRONTO system.
