The Manager Track Maintenance will be responsible for ensuring all Track Maintenance infrastructure, facilities and equipment are maintained to a standard which enables the business to safely operate in an effective and efficient manner to achieve business production targets.&amp;nbsp;The Manager Track Maintenance will support the General Manager (GM) Rail by providing leadership, guidance and direction to the Track Maintenance team across a range of disciplines as the project moves from the design and construction phase into a full operating entity. This includes assisting the GM Rail in developing and consolidating a strong safety culture; the preparation of standards, policies and procedures; the development of budgets and appropriate maintenance strategies; and, participating in design reviews, commissioning and acceptance sign off. &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Key responsibilities: &amp;nbsp;Provide strong, visible leadership to the Railroad Track Maintenance team and wider Rail team. Monitor, measure and report on maintenance issues, opportunity and development plans and achievements within agreed formats and schedules. Develop and drive goal setting within the Track Maintenance team; to ensure current and future plans and objectives are met.&amp;nbsp; Develop tools and systems to provide critical maintenance information to the GM Rail and make recommendations on both strategy and operations. Ensure activities meet and integrate with organisational requirements for quality management, health and safety, legal obligations, environmental policies and general duty of care. Ensure compliance with all legal, statutory and corporate affairs requirements are in place on a timely basis and as appropriate. Develop and implement business processes required to maintain and improve the maintenance department output. Provide advice and direction to the Track Maintenance leadership team to ensure all direct reports are aligned to the strategic plans put in place by the GM Rail. Resolve maintenance priorities in conformance with short-term and long-term business goals.
