MES is currently seeking an experienced Senior Open Pit Mine Geologist to join our client's nickel mining operation in the South-West.
Requirements:
- Relevant Tertiary Qualifications in Geology;
- Proven experience and understanding of Datamine;
- Sound mine geology experience, nickel experience is desirable;
- National Police Clearance.
Position Duties:
- Coordinate all geological activities for the open pit mining operation including grade control;
- Ensuring all activities are carried out to the highest standard of workplace safety and environmental regulations;;
- EOM reconciliation and reporting;
- Mentoring junior geologists and technicians.
