MES currently has an exciting Processing Superintendent opportunity for a highly regarded gold producer in Western Australia.
The role will involve directly reporting to the Processing Manager and will provide plenty of career growth within a continuously growing Company.
Job requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Metallurgy;
- Willing and able to supervise both processing and fixed plant areas of the site;
- Highest regard for safe work practices;
- Excellent communication and team skills;
- Budgeting and reporting experience, highly regarded.
Position Duties:
- Monitor plant metallurgical and process control systems, and take remedial actions where necessary;
- Create new and implement process systems and equipment, and upgrades to existing systems;
- Ensure the safe practices across the whole site;
- Ensure the site is operating as such that it can hit its performance indicators;
- Monitoring plant production quantity and quality to ensure targets are being met;
- Monitor the fixed plant maintenance team, working along side the Maintenance Superintendent;
- Work with the team to create business plans, operating and capital budgets and reports.
Experience
10+ years experience in mineral processing, preferably gold.
