MES is seeking an OP Mine Geologist to join our client's geology team, reporting to the Senior Geologist. This role is great for an aspiring mine geologist.
Job Requirements:
- Relevant Tertiary Qualifications in Geology;
- Ambition to work in the nickel mining industry;
- Excellent communication skills & attitude towards safe work practices;
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office computer programs & data entry skills;
- Australian C-Class Drivers Licence;
- National Police Clearance.
Position Duties:
- Data entry;
- Work along side graduate level geologists and Senior Mine geologists in the pit;
- Geological mapping and interpretations;
- Periodic planning and supervision of grade control functions;
- Grade control.
