Our client runs two of the highest grade operating nickel mines in the world and is currently seeking an experienced underground geotechnician for a short term contract role.
Job Details:
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical and DAS;
- Must hold current C class licence;
- Upmost regard for site safety;
- Must have full working rights in Australia.
Position Duties:
- Monitoring ore excavation to maximise recovery;
- Accurately record ore mining activities;
- Ore mark-ups and prepare areas for mining;
- Co-coordinating grade control activities;
- Grade control drilling supervision;
- Grade control drilling supervision;
- Grade control sampling;
- Assisting the mine geologists and production team with general duties as required.
