MES is looking for a Fixed Plant Fitter to join our client's team ASAP; this role is filled with career development and is for a company with an exciting future.

The client is a producer of base metals and gold in Western Australia.

Job Requirements:

Trade Certificate (Engineering Tradesperson - Mechanical)
Valid WA Manual Drivers License
Working at Heights & Confined Spaces Ticket (desirable)
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and a drug & alcohol screen
Current national police clearance

Position Duties:

Perform maintenance and repairs to fixed plant equipment;
Diagnose faults, inspect and test machinery;
General problem solving in the fixed plant environment;

Experience

2 years' experience working in mining as a mechanical fitter - Gold/base metal experience
