Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Geologist to join their Open Pit nickel operation in WA. This role reports to the Geology Superintendent and is a role that allows the candidate to mentor the Mine Geologists onsite.
Job Requirements:
- Relevant Tertiary Qualifications in Geology;
- Experience using geological software;
- Excellent communication & people skills;
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork;
- Working rights in Australia.
Position Duties:
- Management of Ore Mining;
- Accurate collection of production and reconciliation data;
- Mentoring Junior Geologists and Technicians;
- Monitor QA/QC of sampling and assaying.
