MES is currently seeking a Process Operator (2IC) to work for our client. The role could be potentially a permanent opportunity that will report to the Mill Foreman.
Role Requirements:
- Australian Manual Driver's License;
- National Police Clearance;
- Strong leadership skills, including the ability to train and teach others;
- Solid understanding of OHS regulations associated with process plant operations;
- Excellent communications skills;
- Hold full working rights in Australia.
Position Duties:
- Ensuring the effective recovery of gold from ore processed whilst minimising costs;
- Participating in prestart meetings, weekly and monthly safety meetings;
- Monitoring the process with sampling procedures to ensure targeted metallurgical recoveries are being met;
- Compiling production data as required;
- Operating Milling and Crushing Circuit;
- Assist supervisors/superintendents with the general running of the processing plant.
Experience
2-3+ years experience working in gold processing.
