Our Client is a resource investment company focused on the gold mining sector.
They are currently looking for an experienced Technical Services Planning Engineer to join their team for a Perth based role.
Job Requirements:
Tertiary qualified Mine Engineer;
Strong technical and commercial understanding of engineering in the Metalliferous Mining Industry;
Excellent interpersonal, cooperative and facilitation skills as part of interfacing with various level of management and external bodies and agencies;
Well-developed strategic thinking, analytical & planning skills;
Sound and practicable time management skills;
Strong commitment to health, safety & environment standards;
Position Duties:
- Mine design and mine planning;
- Strategic planning to ensure annual and rolling mining schedules adhere to LOM objectives;
- Assist in the development of standards, procedures and processes in relevant functional or process area;
- Mine recording and mine reporting, cost reporting and budgets.
Experience
Demonstrated open-pit mining experience working in a similar technical role (ideally in the gold mining industry). Deswik experience is highly regarded.
